I recently purchased a vehicle from Old Town Automobile. This is not my first rodeo, nor my first classic, but it was my first time dealing with Courtney, and the folks at OTA. I purchased the car, (70 Duster) sans a test drive, due to my very busy schedule, and distance to the shop. Courtney delivered the car, and it was every bit as tight and clean as advertised. However, from day one, it had an engine misfire. I suspected an ignition problem, though as we know, a miss can be caused by many things. I replaced a few parts: coil, ignition-module, etc., but the cruising-mid-rpm miss persisted. Long story short - after a very friendly conversation, explaining the issue, Courtney came all the way back to me, picked the car up, and took it back to the OTA-shop. They methodically diagnosed the problem (after replacing a few other parts with new) and installed a Holley 800 cfm in place of the 650 cfm (turns out was a lean-condition miss), and retuned the car back to me on his truck - No Charge. Runs like a champ. Who does that these days? Answer: no one I've come across! No one. That is top-notch customer service, which was exhibited from day one in a forthright, honest, friendly manner. These are good folks, running an honest shop, and everything they did for me was properly done, even down to returning my car as clean as I handed it off. Good people, real people.
